I have not had Gelato since my trip to San Francisco which was in 2005. My SIL brought some over and the brand was called Talenti. I had the chocolate chip. Very good but high in fat. She also brought some blood orange sorbet by the same brand. It was ok.

My wife and I did a favor for someone, and they happened to have owned a Gelato eatery, and gave us some. We like our Blue Bell ice cream, but Gelato will give it a run for the money, that's for sure. It was real good.

Gelato. I only get it at gelato shops though, it's never as good from the freezer.

I prefer sorbet, because I can't have that much dairy.

I prefer the taste and consistency of good quality ice cream.

Gelato. I like that it is more intensely flavored. But both are yummy. I typically only get nutty, spicy or chocolate gelato.

I like ice cream too of course, generally fruit or caramel or chunky nutty flavors.
