Sam's Club Recalls Smoked Salmon - Listeria concerns prompt move in 42 states

the interesting thing about this is: because you have a card for Sam's they have a record of who has purchased what and are notifying everyone about the recall. We got a notice via email a few days ago. It happens, the package we bought is not part of the group being recalled. Not all of the lox sold after Nov 12th are affected. My advise would be, if you have questions you need to contact Sam's directly...Even though our package wasn't part of the recall we did ask SAms what to do...? Because there could be more recalls (unlikely) we have decided just to keep the last pack we have in the freezer and see if they recall it as well. I went out and purchased more Lox for our New Years morning brunch, just to be on the safe side.
