Do you guys remember Vernors?

I'm drinking some now. It's still strong as ever.
I'm over 35, but, since it's still made I'm sure there are three-year-olds that "remember" Vernor's.

Hey, does anyone "older" remember Yuengling beer? When I say older, I mean at least 186 years old.

I first had Vernor's in OH in the 70's. I believe it was originally from Detroit. One grocery chain around here (Columbia SC) carries it'

Also a spicy local ginger ale here called Blenheim. They have several flavors including a hot spicy one.

Yep. I remember it. Very gingery. Haven't had it in years. I've moved on to ginger tisane (tea). Carbonation doesn't agree with me any more.

There are a few places in Florida that sell it, smaller stores mostly. It's real good..

Sitting here drinking mine now. Love the stuff and doesnt have that aweful sweetness the other drinks do. The diet Vernors every bit as good as the regular. Canada Dry has a gingerale also but was never a fan of theirs.

Knox Harrington was making a point. Yuengling has never gone away; therefore, it cannot be "remembered". Same with Vernor's.

I tried some about a month ago, when I was searching for a cheaper ginger ale to drink when I get migraines. Vernor's tasted mostly like sugar to me, very little ginger taste. In fact, if someone had served it to me in a glass, and I didn't know what it was, I would have thought it was cream soda, not ginger ale.

How about The Gingerpeople's. Here you can get it in the healthfood/whole food stores.
