Ruby Tuesday used to be at the Mall and now they have a stand-alone store in a pad outside an older but upscale strip center near me. They seem to be doing good.
RT is sort of that mid-range chain place that you see a lot of. O-Charlies, Fridays, etc. You all know the type. Fits well here in Dayton.

We won't go there !
But it won't be because they may or may not be going under. We are major foodies and we have been known to drive from Kalispell Montana to Spokane Washington just for lunch, (and a scenic drive).
There aren't any Ruby Tuesday's within our fuel allowance range, No way I'm driving for 13 hours to try out a freaking chain restaurant ! We draw the line at a six hour drive there and back.
I looked at the dinner menu online and didn't see prices ??? That's a bad sign.
If they do go under, what happens to the franchised ones ?
Do the franchise owners get to keep using the menu items and the name Ruby Tuesday ?

1) Why would a southern based chain really need to have a store in the Pacific Northwest?
2) National chains often don't post menu prices as their costs vary SIGNIFICANTLY from location to location. Also, franchisors are NOT permitted to dictate prices for franchisee stores.
3) If they go under - which RT is NOT announcing - the franchisee's ability to use the name is dictated by the franchise agreement and/or the US Bankruptcy Court depending on the circumstance.
4) If the chain liquidates, teh franchised ones rebrand or close.
I used to go there a lot at my previous job. There was one nearby and we liked going there for the salad bar. It was always really good, but I haven't been in years now.
