I am always looking for the next greatest cooking gear I cannot live without...
(Prompted by another thread about how the non-stick coating wears off after much abuse from the frying pans & also new "green" products that is safe for the body & uses little to no oil; brands like "Orgreenic" or "Green pans" etc.)
I have also recently bought a product called Neoflam "Midas" that is supposed to do all that too... It is a Korean brand & am just wondering if anyone have heard of it & their reviews on it???
Used it for only a short while... so far so good for me. But just wondering of how it will "hold up".
Or
Just share your fav. cookware...
Which cookware would you would give a great review for like its wear & performance.
What is your recommendations for a great cooking gear???

For me, it's Le Creuset for cookware, hands down. My cookware: 60% from LC, 20% from All-Clad, 20% from local European artisans. I use AC for quick dishes (20 minutes or less); the rest, I use LC.

I have few pots from European makers, and the most liked and used is Le Creuset. I have some ss Calphalon, cookware, Lodge cast iron. I also use Kuhn Rikon pressure cooker for quick dishes.
I won't use anything made in China. LC is made in China. My calphalon set is made in the USA however there are other calphalon pieces I have seen that are made in China so I am constantly looking to find out where they are made. I am almost certain that AllClad is made here in PA. I just can't see buying anything from China. With that said I do have 3 different sized cast iron pans that I use on occasion, they aren't seasoned yet. I don't like them because they are heavy but that's me.I also like the fact that with the calphalon set I have I can cook with very little oils and butter and the food does not stick. Omlettes come out perfect and slide right out of the pans.Sorry for the rant on China but it's a pet peeve of mine when buying cookware sets and knives.

Neither do I. I make every effort to avoid buying things made in China. I am happily paying twice as much for the same item if it were not made in China. If the item cannot be found made in other countries, I would go without, but I would not surrender.
So, no, LC cast iron and enamel over cast iron are NOT made in China. Their stoneware are made in Thailand, their enamel over steel (which I do not own) are made in China, and many of their silicone are made in the US, but all of their cast iron and enamel over cast iron are made in France.
