You are right, they are a travesty, but some people do like them, so donate most of them, and they would probably be tolerable in a tuna casserole or a pot pie.
Yuk...I really don't like peas. My dh likes pea salad with onions, chopped boiled eggs, sweet pickles, mayo and shredded cheddar cheese. I do use a few in tuna casserole but it's the only way I eat them.

There was an earlier thread where someone mentioned creamed peas. And yeah a casserole or a stew might work for these too.
I love peas but prefer frozen to fresh.
You have a lot of peas to go through there. Hope your husband got them at a bargain.
