I hate canned peas.... I can't think of doing something worse for peas then canning them - I don't want to even donate them on a food drive.

Soooo..... DH bought a CASE of canned peas while I was away.....

Any ideas to make them palatable?

Yuck. Donate them to a food bank.

You are right, they are a travesty, but some people do like them, so donate most of them, and they would probably be tolerable in a tuna casserole or a pot pie.

Canned peas. Bacon bits. Mayonaise. Chill. Easy pea salad.

Here's a recipe.

It can start you off, or just search for pea salad on Google.

I actually like canned peas. I haven't bought them in a very long time, but I could polish off a whole can as a snack.

Yuk...I really don't like peas. My dh likes pea salad with onions, chopped boiled eggs, sweet pickles, mayo and shredded cheddar cheese. I do use a few in tuna casserole but it's the only way I eat them.

There was an earlier thread where someone mentioned creamed peas. And yeah a casserole or a stew might work for these too.

I love peas but prefer frozen to fresh.

You have a lot of peas to go through there. Hope your husband got them at a bargain.
