On produce items this time of year, you are buying from the same produce growers and packers regardless of what brand you purchase.

Wow that is a good price! Our $ store doesn't carry refrigerated stuff and I just looked at our local grocery just a few minutes ago. The bagged salads were $5.99 and baby spinach was $6.99 each. I just bought 2 head of romaine do chop up ourselves.

In my latest salad in a bag purchase, last one too, I'll make my own from now on, there were these things that looked like something off a pine tree or a weed. Tasted like grass, just horrible. I managed to pick them out of the salad. So looking forward to spring (end of May here) when I can have a garden and my own salad fixins!
