I use Big Y (supermarket brand). Big Y stuff comes from major brands that offer private labelling so that means these are either Sunmaid or Dole. I'm guessing Sunmaid because they put them together on a shelf as a "weekly feature" every week, in the produce aisle next to the green beans. They have another set of shelves at the other end of the aisle, where they keep all the dried fruits, including Sunmaid and Dole and Big Y and Full Circle (Big Y's organic label) and two other brands. But the only time they pair up the Big Y brand with another brand, it's always Sunmaid.

I haven't bought raisins in years, but as a kid I remember always eating Sunmaid. I still have my 'California Raisin' piggy bank from 1988.

I found Dole raisins less clumpy, less sugary, more plump and moist, so I preferred that, but I heard that their quality have gone down recently. I recently bought Sunmaid on sale. They are very clumpy.

I dunno? To me a raisin is a raisin... any brand name will do. Though I never cared for them until recent years.

Same here raisins are raisins to me. I use the purple ones for some stuff, the golden ones for other dishes.

Raisins are disgusting. It's like chewing on old people skin or something.
