I haven't been to any of these in years. I prefer a diner.

Putting "other" on the list probably hurts this poll. Most people probably prefer a non chain restaurant. Out of the ones listed I would pick TGIF. I really like their French Onion soup. Decent burgers as well.

None of the above really but if I really had to choose then it would be outback. Not too many here on LI anymore.

I like both Outback and TGIF, but there aren't any TGIFs where I live now.

Wow OP aim low much? Even in a hypothetical world where there was nothing except chain restaurants this is a pretty unappetizing list. As far as I'm concerned there are no redeeming qualities about Ruby Tuesday's, TGIF or Sizzlers. Never heard of Ground Round so I can't comment on that. Chili's is the epitome of mediocre, but at the very least I've never had an outright 'bad' meal there. Outback is all over the place in terms of consistency. It's the only one of the chains listed where I've actually had a 'good' meal, but I've also had terrible meals there too so it kinda offsets.

I voted for "other" because I greatly prefer local restaurants and mom-and-pop diners.

Support your local restaurants!

TGIF. The service is nice, I can eat healthy (salad and ~400 cal entree) and they are good for kids.

We eat at Chili's more than any of the other restaurants, but we don't eat at any of them very much.

Local places win most of the time for our dining choice.

Grand Lux Cafe is my favorite chain, but I have tried Outback before and I liked it very much too.
