Well some chocolate just appeared served on a plate. Seems there was a giant sized chocolate bar hidden in the crisper. Back in a bit. Have some important business to attend to here.

I'm not sure what dinner will be tomorrow night, but I know what we're cooking during the day so it will be one of the following:

Meatballs, Meat Loaf, Chicken, Pork Roast, Macaroni and Cheese.

We'll keep one dish for dinner and the rest will be used during the week. We're going to do the pork roast "pernile style". We have two beautiful heads of garlic. We'll be inserting whole cloves into various parts of the pork and then slow roasting it. Our kitchen is going to smell great tomorrow.

If I were a tad bit closer I would volunteer to be the master taster.

It sounds like we gathered quite a contingent for this trek. Can't wait for that shrimp. Do you think LL Bean will still be open when we get there??? And what's this about a dog, Nomad? We're cat folk.

Oooohhh, Charley, the garlicked pork roast sounds WONDERFUL. We've got a pork roast from our favorite meat vendor at the Farmers' Market in the deep freeze, and I think I know what I'm gonna suggest the next time the weather cools down here! Do you add root vegetables to roast with it as well?

Supper here looks like home-made Chinese, one of the spouse's favorite types of food to cook. He tries to keep rice to a minimum (it has a high glycemic index and he's diabetic) so I foresee a noodle-based dish of some sort. Not sure yet whether it'll be the lo-mein sort of dish or if it'll be more of a soupish kind of thing, but it'll be scrumptious either way.

Here's wishing you all a wonderful Saturday evening and a relaxing Sunday with lots of great and glorious FOOD!
