Hi, guys. Looks like we have a new victim! Welcome, Flight Atten.

Well, I made that Kraft chicken and potato bake. It wasn't really anything special. The chicken was nice and moist, and the potatoes soaked up the chicken flavor, but you couldn't taste the Italian dressing or the parmesan. Maybe if I marinated the chicken in the dressing......

To be continued, I think!

OK guys...you know me by now.

what do you mean par-boiled and then in the oven? How long each place? Temp?

NJMike, how do you do them stove top and how does it take longer than the oven? How do you make them in the oven?

If the peppers are stuffed with sausages or meat, they're still stuffed peppers right?

Step 1. ???

LOLLLL ...microwave! Works for me Elston!

How long do you bake them?

By the way, is the meat already cooked and all before you stuff and put the whole thing in the oven?

I mix cooked hamburg and onion and cooked rice and a can of tomato sauce with spices ....(use parsley, s&p or season salt or Bay Seasoning or celery salt or cumin depending on what you like) and sometimes a beaten egg, it isnt necesary but cant hurt....and spoon it into pepper shells I dropped into boiling water and let boil gently for about 5 mins. and then put in 350 oven for at least a half an hour. A little ketchup and a strip of raw bacon over top of pepper is nice touch.

There are times I've par boiled the peppers and other times I just clean them stuff and slow cook in the oven, I like the latter as it's less work,

Dinner was comforting and happy, 30,s tonight.

Nite all-and welcome FltAttentdant~!!

I too par boil............
VPCats....could you please explain what the heck flap meat is? It does not sound appetizing.

Welcome FlightAttendant. You will love it here. Great people that make you feel at home.

NJMike I would take them out of the casings and fry them up in a bit of olive oil and then add your other ingredients to make it go faster.

I don't know why it was so good, but it was perfect for my tastebuds tonight. I made an open-face tomato, cheese, and onion sandwich on rosemary bread. So happy now.

I got off of work early today, so I decided to make Lasagna! (Yeah I was feeling ambitious I guess)
I always use the same recipe...it's one I found online... It was soooo good.

I was going to cook the stuffed peppr on the stove top in a pan but it was taking too long to cook the sausage so I put it in the oven on 350 for about 30 minutes.
