Tonight will be my seven layer casserole. It's getting real chilly here and some hot comfort food sounds good.

I have some leg quarters in brine and will bake them with cream of mushroom soup. The DW will choose veggies when she arrives home. I'm behaving like it or not as she has promised a home made pizza for Saturday.

Morning all, today we woke up to a cold front and boy is it chilly (well chilly for southeast tx). So in honor of our chilly day, yep you guessed it chili for dinner. LOL

Hope everyone has a great day.

I guess there's a small upside to not having sold my house yet

Off to the weekly farmer's amrket to see what goodies are out there this week. There's been a frost so I hope there's some Brussels Sprouts.

Brrr.....cold here too! It was in the upper 20s this morning walking my dog.

Tonight is a fun almost-the-weekend diversion. We are watching a scary movie (The Strangers) with friends, drinking wine, and eating pizza (not sure if it will be homemade or carry out)....I am such a wuss when it comes to scary movies!!

We are also putting in an offer for a different house, so keep your fingers crossed for me!

Happy Thursday! Stay warm!

I have some visitors arriving from UK this evening so I think I ought to make them something special for dinner. Only - got no idea what to make and I have a whole house to clean and prepare as well!

Hopefull inspiration will strike as I vacuum and make beds up - or the dinner fairy might appear, ya never know!

Have a good day

No trouble staying warm here at 80°. Send any leftover pizza my way please. I can't have any until Saturday and I'm going through withdrawl.

Best of luck with the house. I really need to visit my son down south of ya in CS. We haven't seen him in over 5 years now. Where does time go?

Nikkzone, I'd like some details too, please. It does sound yummy. I bet if carrots or squash fell in there, it would be pretty good, too.

Fingers crossed, Highlands Gal. I'd cross my toes, too, but I'm already doing that for another friend on the exercise journal thread. When she's done, I'll do those for you.

Nomad, I'd gladly help you with that pizza. there hasn't been as much of it as I''d like here at the NMS household.

Southdown, I know you'll come up with something wonderful. Enjoy your company.

Burdell...there are some brussel sprouts in our fridge that I think are going to be on our table tonight! NOt from the farmers' market, tho.
