It worked out so good...as I would take off one or two softened leaves I put the lid back on the steamer/pot and took the soft leaves to my collander and turned around and the next couple of leaves were ready! I did manage to steam my fingers a couple of times but nothing bad and I least I didn't boil them!

Hello FFP's!

Well today I made good use of yesterday's roast beef. It was grilled San Francisco sourdough with roast and melted cheese. Added mayo and lettuce, pickles, and mustard. Defrosted some homemade vegetable beef stew and, "presto magico!" great lunch/dinner!!

Looks like you guys are having some really great dinners, too!!!

I'm cooking one of my meatloafs I froze up. I will have mashed potatoes, corn and sliced tomatoes with that. I need a day off from the kitchen today and this is really an easy quick dinner. Getting ready to bath my old kitty--not her favorite pastime but necessary. Then after I brush her all out, which is a major job as she has long hair, I am going to read a few chapters in my book. Haven't taken any time to do that and I sure miss it! Will check back in later to see what all everyone is having for their dinners and how their days are going.

Glad to hear everyone's day is going well. Nice afternoon in NC, watching the Panthers, Ariz. game and have a 12 qt. pot of spaghetti sauce with meatballs and sausage simmering, the smell of fresh garlic and tomatoes lingering throughout the house. We will have imported penne tonight with a large salad. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. See ya'll later. kelsie

DH is still on his day away. Not sure what his supper plans are, but I think I caught pizza cravings from Nomad!
