Hubbie wants chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, gravy and peas....so guess that's what I'm making! When I first asked him he said that typical "I don't care". I really have to create a dish called I don't care---I said that earlier and I'm still mulling it over!!

LOL If my partner, (bless his heart) said, "I don't care" I would invent a dish that included an ample portion of everything I know he doesn't like, some sort of "casserole of horror" and serve it up without a word.

I don't think he would say, "I don't care" ever again. Then I would start instruction in other equally non commital but acceptable responses such as, "What ever you cook is always delicious" or "Why don't you surprise me, you know my favorites."

When my hubby says I don't care, then he has to either take me out to eat or order take out.

Not supper but I just made the best breakfast muffins I ever made. "Oatmeal, Spiced Apple, Raisin and Nut Muffins" they are delicious and smelled so good cooking! I would like to open a coffee shop, these alone should make me famous.

For Valentine's Day, we are grilling steaks and broiling scallops and roasting some asparagus. We will serve bearnaise sauce on the side. I am going to stop by Whole Foods on the way home from work and pick up a dessert. We will also have a nice bottle of red.
