Thanks. I've made mine before with tempra batter with shredded carrots. They come out nice and sweet. I like your ideas with sweet chili dipping sauce. I am thinking jalapeño will be a good add on...

Southdown, I couldn't rep ya but those fritters sound great -- especially with bacon and bleu cheese!!

We have a ton of the yummy mushroom gravy from the pork chops left over, and it will get served over rice tomorrow.

Tonight we have friends coming over to watch the Buffalo Bills play in Monday night football -- they really need to win....not doing too hot lately.

Anyway, we are getting dinner made for us -- chicken parm with angel hair pasta and salad. I am making guacamole for an app, and we'll have the pecan pie for dessert. Good way to start a long week!

Happy Monday everyone.................

I really need to do some catching up here.

Tonight I think we are going to have the London Broil that I have been marinating since Saturday. Luckily the winds have died down so we can use the grill......I'm really hoping my son comes over to cook it. I marinate it and he cooks it perfectly.

Tonight is soft tacos filled with fresh pork, cheese, onion, and mine will have jalapenos for the kick. I would like some good home made salsa but that will come out of a jar tonight.

Yes -- very exciting! However, that week of the move is going to be CRAZY for me!! I have my school's dance show on the 2nd (which I am in charge of) and then auditions for the school musical the evenings of the 3rd, and 4th. Supposed to be on the 5th too, but I already told them that I'd be taking a personal day to close on the house/move.......

Um....and this ties in with food because we will be having a housewarming party soon after and I'll be sharing my yummy recipes for that!!

Oh great! Yum! Something for us all to look forward to Highlands! So I can't remember, how far is it to where you are moving? Out of state? This is a very exciting time and the packing does get done, although you will swear you won't get it all done in time--you will!!
