I scrapped the leftover idea for tonight in favor of angel hair pasta and clam sauce with crusty Italian bread & salad. Have a wonderful dinner everyone.

Would you believe I had already posted it. I'm not hitting on all cylinders again I guess. Not that I normally do. Better go start pulling the pork for the tacos.

We had our first snow fall today and it was BIG flakes a few stuck to the ground but no blanketing yet.

One kid wants potato pancakes so I told them I would make a big pot of mashed potatoes tonight we can have them tomorrow with the leftovers. Don't know what else I will fix with the mashed potatoes yet but I see a few of you here are having them as well tonight.

yankee sent you reps to feel better.

Hi everyone,

Yankee- I hope you feel better.

To the rest of you fantastic cookers, can I come over?

How often does everyone here go grocery shopping, lol? I couldn't check in this morning because I write and post my story on Mondays. It is cold and snowy again. My hubby is having Italian sausage with onions, potatoes, and peppers baked in the oven. I am thinking about bean burritos.

We went to town today and I bought some new cookbooks so I am drooling over so many recipes. I'll start sharing when I start making them.

Have a great night. We are running low on electric, for those who don't know we live off grid, so I can't stay on the computer all night.

Have a great night all.
