I don't think I posted dinner yet, but , it was roast beef in mushroom soup on rice, whole kernel corn, and tomato wedges. Lots of iced tea...

I can't blame them. It was delicious.
Oh FINE then! LOL

Been there, done that! Add 1/2 cup melted butter/margarine to your batter.

MWBW hope DH's foot heals quickly.

YLisa your chicken sounded yumo. Page 27!

sterlinggirl those meany people. Glad to hear you didn't smell the cabbage maybe that would be a saving kitchen gadget for couples that one doesn't like the smell.

CheyDee you need to make Mickey Mouse, heart shaped, turtle shaped or silver dollar pancakes. Just use a ladle to measure your batter so they come out the same size for the round ones. Have you tried to use a cooking spray in your skillet? Don't turn them over until you see the bubbles on top fairly even. I have never used butter while cooking them maybe it is getting too hot? Is your fire too hot?

Happy New Year to everyone here by the way !

Tonight I am making comfort food. I decided to make "Kedgeree" which I love and used to be very popular in Britain among the old "colonial" class of Brits ( I think it is an Anglo-Indian dish as far as I know). Usually served at breakfast but I am not one to let this in the way...

Delicious !

Hello there, Get some carrots, big onions, corli flower. Some flour, a little salt, an egg or 2,. Mix the flour with salt and the egg. Beat it until you get a thick paste. Cut rounds from onions, seperate the little flowers from the corli, carrot strips. add some salt. First dip the vegetable pieces in the flour and then dip it in the mixture. deep fry it and try with tomato ketch up.
