I take the weekends off from cooking anything fancy. Tonight hotdogs and beans and a strawberry yogurt pie with fresh strawberries for desert!
I have a guest coming on Sunday so it will be Chicken Caprese! I have a great recipe for it! For desert, a home made apple pie and some vanilla Hagen Daz Ice cream! There goes my diet!

Hmmmm...... think I might have to make my own recipe tomorrow, imagine that.
Just wanted to let you know the soup, turned out great!! I might of over cooked it a tad.. 3 hours... But I must say that is something I will be making more of.. Worked out good for today seeing it only made it to 5 above!

Once again thanks for your help and the recipe!!

With that said it's been a long day... And to cold!! Time for some much needed sleep!!

Night all... Happy cooking...

DD wanted to bake a cake today for her friend's birthday but I said fudge or cookies were simpler and more reliable - HA!!

She followed the marshmallow pack's chocolate fudge recipe to the word but ended up with a kind of chocolate-flavored Mighty Putty - tasted great but glued your mouth tight shut and removed all teeth.

After a bit of pondering over the solidified brown glue, I re-melted the strange concotion and mixed it with a load of Rice Krispies - and actually, it turned out crispy, chewy, chocolatey and yummy.

Anyone want the recipe?
