Well I batter dipped the chicken, rolled it in crushed corn flakes, and the legs are in the oven. I hope my hubby likes it. We had a nice day but we still have snow. I know how you all feel. I'm getting spring and garden fever. I can't wait.

skbs- Have fun tonight. Sorry about your Luna's and I am jealous that you can go to a Farmer's Market.

HG- I'm glad you are feeling better. Have great time tonight.

Lacie- Oh it sounds like so much fun. Good for you. Don't worry if Mr. L doesn't get it. We understand.

Blondie- Apple Pie Yum. And Hagen Daz. Way to go. Enjoy.

Nomad baby steps you are getting there!

skbs ahem I can see brownish green grass here today with lots of puddles.

Lacey how exciting for you to have your gown in hope pictures are soon to follow!

gym rat are pizza or sloppy joes on the horizon?

MWBW we only have farmer's markets in the summer with fresh produce nobody sells meat directly at them. I wish ours were open year around to promote buying local from the farmers all the time.

cyn our gardens around here don't got in until the first of May that is 2 more long months away.

I did a pamper me time today folks! It was nice even took the phone off the hook while I was in the tub soaking. Fixed shrimp scampi and a big ole salad just for me! No limit on the shrimp because I didn't have to think about feeding other mouths. LOL

My sister has a lemon tree in her yard in Crestview FL and brought some to us over Christmas - they actually were pink on the inside and tasted sweeter than any lemon has a right to! I am wondering if they were a cross breed or something?

Could have been...More and more citrus is being developed with pink and red coloring...They are higher in Vit. A.... When my mother was just a little girl they had what where known as blood oranges... Her brothers would cut one and tell her they had blood in them and then try to get her to eat one too...

Wow, all this gardening talk! I had a backyard garden - ONCE!!!! Oh my, I babied that garden - every day after work I would weed or water. My father even came over to till up the space before I got started and gave me step by step instructions that I even wrote down! - This is a man who has the greenest thumb I have ever seen. Welllllll, guess that green thumb skipped a generation, because that was the most pitiful excuse for a garden in the history of gardens!! LOL The tomatoes and bell peppers never fully matured and fell off the vines. The corn was snaggle-toothed, etc... The only thing that grew were some giant sunflowers I put in one corner because I think they are pretty. They were huge! It really was funny - after all the work I put into it! Dad said it must have been my soil - I think he was just being nice! LOL Good thing I can raid his gardens!
