I will give it a try...sounds good. Would not have thought about the paprika...About all we use that for is makeup on potato salad...

amber what an amazing recipe you shared!

MWBW thanks for sharing your awesome evening with us!

spiderbear welcome to an awesome thread!

gentlearts congrats on the Chili placing.

skbs do you think the movie would be good to take a young teen girl too? Of course since swimming has started might have to wait for the DVD.

Lacey happy bday to DH now can you give us a reminder on Tues for your 41 years together please?

YLisa my dad was the same way only wanted the same foods all the time mostly. He waited after my parents had been married 25 years to say at the dinner table he hated green beans which we ate a lot growing up. Yes we were having green beans that night.

case we eat oyster crackers with our chili and cornbread with ham & beans. Good to see what others eat with what.

burdell it was warmer here yesterday so I enjoyed the day then I am sure you will enjoy yours today!

elston glad to see you back!

Kats throw me into the never follow a recipe group as well. Must do something right everybody requests my food. Baking I follow one.

Nomad my kids use to love to scoop out the salt I palmed to see it was always whatever the baking recipe called for. Sorry don't have a TNT rub to share. Makeup on potato salad I liked that.

Not as warm here today 40° but the sun is shining that is always a plus. I am making an old Pampered Chef recipe of chicken & broccoli ring tonight for supper. I lost the recipe and another poster in the recipe section posted it for me. Will make a big salad to eat as well. I just realized I haven't done any baking this weekend that is odd for me.

Alright, guys, in case any of you missed my "breaking news", I'm making homemade chili in the crockpot. I've got it going now and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. It will cook for 4 hours.

You can do crackers with chili. I do that most of the time already. It's just that today I just thought that my supper tonight would just offer me something a little bit different. You can also do cornbread with chili. Must be a Texas thing.

Good afternoon all, been ages since I have been here. Too many pages to catch up on but hope everyone is well. Making a small prime rib roast with mashed potaoes and steamed asparagus. Hubby has been doing most of the cooking lately so I thought I would make him a nice dinner today.
Lacy I use the same rub you do but do add garlic to it too.

I think maybe a southern thing as I have friends from the south that eat cornbread at a lot of meals we don't normally.
