Good morning!

Tonight we're grilling steaks. Yum! And I'm with you, daytripper - I wish I was already at home too and I've only been here an hour!

Afternoon all, tonight I think we are going to grill out. I have some steaks I am going to pull out of the freezer for me and the kids and the hubby will get a chicken breast. The weather is beautiful down here today so it will be nice to grill out.

Oh it is so wonderful. I have all the windows open and can hear the birds singing. I have a great breeze coming through and airing out the house. This is the first day in a month I haven't felt cold. (Still haven't acclimated to winter temps yet)

I'm moving northeast in less than two weeks; but today is lovely day here in California; the nectarine tree is blooming lovely pink flowers on the dark branches and twigs (very asian looking) and the jasmine vine makes the back fence a lovely pink and white cascade of blooms and the wisteria is opening into hanging clusters of lilac colored buds. The Japanese maple is leafing out with that golden chartreuse color, ("Nature's first green is gold; her hardest hue to hold." R. Frost) and the blue birds and hummers are flying about claiming territory. Lovely day.

But there is a dusting of pine pollen over everything. lol

It's a gorgeous day here in Massachusetts - I too have all the windows open letting all that fresh air in! Even the daffies and crocus are popping their heads out. I think for supper I will make a nice piece of grilled fish with a big salad and rice. Alas, this weekend is cold and rainy
