Noma-not sure if 1 help would but may relax you. Do you have brandy? A nice snifter of brandy before bed may help induce a few hours.

Just came back from Outback. Wow, Ahi tuna, seared and rare for apps., I must say outside of Key West, it was absolutely the best in a long time. DH had the center cut pork tenderloin and garlic mashed potatoes and fresh steamed green beans with a Cajun sweet ginger sauce. Outrageously delicious. I had the rack of baby back ribs and Aussie fries. One half of the rack is in the fridge now with the fries and bbq sauce. 2 Yuenglings, 1 unsweetened tea, 1 $10 coupon, dinner $40.00 + $10.00 tip. Priceless!
I am a happy cook tonight and cleanup is a breeze.

Dinner at everyone's home as usual is great. Have a wonderful night everyone. kelsie

I remember the canned corned beef; the one that wasn't hash......I think Armour Star canned it; the meat was very fiberous in structure but over cooked in the canning process.

Close, Lacey. You forgot the vodka. A great drink from the '80's. I have a great recipe for a Harvey Wallbanger cake. yum. Expensive, tho.

Our T-Bone steaks aren't finished marinating yet but we are about to marinate our tired old noggins with this concoction;

1 part fresh hand squeezed lime juice infused with a bit of honey,
1 part Cointreau,
1 1/2 parts Sauza Hornitos 100 % agave puro reposado tequila,
Shaken with ice and served in chilled glasses with coarse Kosher salt on half of the glass rim.

The classic Margarita !
