I ended up having rice-a-roni and oatmeal raisin cookies for dinner. At least the cookies were homemade.

I used a recipe from a Sunset magazine cookie cookbook and it didn't call for cinnamon. I was surprised. I put half a teaspoon in anyway. Who else puts cinnamon in their oatmeal raisin cookies?

Not sure what's on tap for tonight yet...

Its not a cookie I make frequently.....but cinnamon sounds right to me....and I think I would have added it too. I am never bound by what the recipe calls for.

Now Lacey you go in and pack girl!! Don't go waiting for the last minute only to add more stress to this situation! You need to keep busy plus just sitting around will only make you more depressed and it will make Mr. L depressed too. That will not help your situation one bit. Stay positive!! If Mr. L sees you busy packing he will get excited too. Half of getting better is mental.

Now that's a pep talk friend-LOL. I basically know what I'm bringing and am pretty well organized (lists made!). Normally I'm packed or laid out way before but with the house listed that's another glitch. The most important thing is my gown-which has been shipped to our daughter's home.

Debsi-saw you on the Mother of Groom thread-is that a riot waiting to happen or what? The gloves are coming off.

Hooray! 70 degrees....I took out my sandals. However, I'll be putting them back in the closet since next weeks weather is back to chilly weather.

I'm going to make some homemade pizza this evening. EASY.

Suppers all round the table sound great today. Ours will be at the Nepali restaurant downtown, before we go to the symphony at Overture Center, so I know it'll be yummy, though don't know the details as yet. Will pop back in after the concert with an update, if I'm awake enough.

Off to the office for a few more hours with the spreadsheets - have a great Saturday, all.

Tonight I'm making Giada's turkey artichoke stuffed shells. DH offered to take me out, but I know, since he just got back from a trip, he'd rather just eat at home. I'm happier barefooted in my kitchen than having to get all beautiful to go out.

We have such a great day for grilling. No fun to grill when home alone...Anyone want to trade a sunny 77° day for a stormy rainy day? Got to get at least an inch of rain though to trade... fair is fair...I just started thinking about a category for "stormy night dinners". something to have that is quick and easy and can be had when the power is off...Think this will be one to nap on.
