I cut and am frying some big leg pieces of chicken....and think I will finish them in the oven with a cream of campbelll soup and onion and celery gravy.....and serve it with egg noodles. I got a lot of those leg quarters because they were so inexpensive (.89 lb)..and we like the dark meat....but am getting a little tired of chicken.....even though we had the roast beef last night and for lunch today... If I dont do the chicken in a creamy gravy.....I might put them in a tomato based sauce.

Never go anywhere w/o the flip-flops! If there's the slightest chance!! BF just called and said it's going to be 50's and maybe bring shorts.

Elston-what I love about chicken is it's versatility.

Richard-I have a feeling we'll be learning lots of new things.

Denise-what a guy!!!!

This is this first time I've loaded the car (always do the packing, etc) and Mr. L loads the car but "I got 'er done"!

Well the chicken browned up beautifully and now I am sauteing up some onion, carrot and celery and will add a can of crm of celery soup and put it over chick in oven and cook till it is super duper done!

I added a teaspoon of mild yellow curry paste and the rest of some sour cream I had in t he fridge from the sour cream and baked potato extravaganza yesterday.

Gosh - life has been crazy and I am going through CD withdrawal!!! I hope everyone is doing well. Now is not a good time to be a real estate agent - but it's getting a lot better

Tonight was the first night that I have cooked since Friday. It was nice to check out what was fresh at the local market and not stare at an empty fridge.

I also had my first martini in over a week. All is good with the world again

YLisa you can make sloppy joes out of the spanish sauce we would sell them as sloppy joes when people didn't want the hot dog. Yep come on over for leftovers this sauce took a couple of days in the crockpot to reduce down but it was worth the wait.

cyn hope you get to bring Sadie home tonight.

Lacey we should be up to mid 40's when you come through on Friday with partly cloudy skies. Good thing is no rain is called for. I dread driving through OH it seems to take forever in the speed trap state.

Hawaii man your description made us all want one!
