I think they are "fresh frozen" and remain frozen until you bring them home and cook with them. I've only had the shrimp so far, and it is excellent quality.

Thanks to those that gave scallop advice, I will thaw them before cooking!

I think tonight is going to be a simple dinner...talapia, brown rice and . I bake the talapia at 400 for about 30 minutes; I usually spray the fish first with canola cooking spray then sprinkle on some lemon pepper seasoning. For the rice, I will use chicken broth instead of water and it makes such a difference too.

Default Scallops in white wine

heres one of my favorites, really easy......

1 tablespoon chopped shallots
1 teaspoon dried tarragon

1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 cup margarine
1/3 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
1 lb scallops
1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced
3 tablespoons parsley, minced
salt and pepper
  1. Saute shallots, tarragon and thyme in margarine in a large skillet 1 minute; add wine and heat to boiling.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer 1-2 minutes. Add mushrooms and scallops and cook until scallops are just tender and cooked, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in parsley. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. Serve over linguine.
