It's 91F at 12:00 and they're calling for a heat index of 105 today, waaaaaaaaaaaaay too high for June 9th,

Won't even think about turning on the stove today. A good ol' ham & cheese on rye followed by a nice dish of strawberries and blueberries is just gonna have to do for dinner.

Oh well, my wife's "indoor" London Broil is just as good as my "outside" work.

I have a couple in the freezer...I should take them out today and marinate for a couple of days. Should be cooler by then. Thanks Charley!

I know that feeling well, moving long distance is never an easy thing to do.I used to tell myself just take it one day at a time.

When I got to the point that you are at now with our move across country I just kept remembering an old song my mother use to sing to me....Que Sera, Sera What ever will be, will be.. ..the future is not ours to see---remember that old song? It says it all!!

Didn't get my chicken last night. Got home and didn't have any in the freezer. So tonight I'm going to try last night's dinner again only with pork chops instead of chicken. Of course that is only if my coworker will switch shifts with me so I don't work in the morning.

Yes, I remember it well! ( Doris Day) I know you are right, but I 've got to go thru it in order to get to the other side. (my hubby can make me crazy)
