She boiled them, mashed them with the wilted greens/bacon/ some grease and I'm sure butter!!! OMG they were to die for (and ya probably could).

Following a late lunch around 1:30, around 7:15 I made a smoothie with orange juice, about 1/2 a banana, the remainder of a bag of frozen blueberries, about 1/2 a cup of peach yogurt and 2 handfuls of ice.

OK. I have to tell you.

I made the yellow squash with Crazy's recipe (the easiest one).

I will be making this again. It came out SUPER! Loved it. I didn't know yellow squash was so good. Actually I think this was maybe the 2nd time I ever had it in my life. The first time must have been at a restaurant or on a cruise ship I bet, but mine was GOOD!

I saved the spinach for tomorrow because we also had grilled red peppers and onions so didn't want to overdo it.

My BFF just came back from Cleveland, where she is from, and brought back Slovenian kielbasa, she is of Slovenian extraction, and does not cook. Me being the cook of our circle of friends, she is bringing it to me to cook, and wants me to find some Slovenian recipes for side dishes.
Anybody have a clue? I am a bit out of my element!

kshe, heres a set of links. I've eatem my share of this kind of cooking in cabbage rolls. We now days just slice it on a bias and stir fry with cabbage. Now that's probably not authentic but works for us.

Tonight felt too hot to cook, so it was yogurt with raspberries from the garden, and toasted pecans.

Last night I made up some leftover prime rib with braised potatoes and corn. Had so much prime rib left over from the night before it made a perfect sized portion for our dinner. It was just as good the second time!!
