I just put a roast on that will have some potatoes, carrots, and some onions around it later in the day. It's on a very low heat and will cook most of the day. Fresh fruit salad for dessert tonight. Have a great day everyone.

We had a big romaine and spinach salad ( no dressing) topped with a mixture of black beans, chopped sweet onions, chopped red peppers, mixed with 1 can of spicy rotelle ( tomatoes and chilis), with a sprinkle of ground cumin and salt. Very tasty and quite filling:
I have never heard of the cave man diet; sounds like it might be vegan???? Tell us more. Is it for a limited time or a way of life?

I'm making Lacey's famous roast that's cooked with beer, garlic & onion soup mix. I set the crockpot when I left for work, and it'll be cooking all day. My dog is gonna be drooling!

The roast was perfect last night. Hit the spot. Tonight is Laceys spinach salad with pork chops and mashed potatoes. Real basic but good! Good to see so many new faces here and returning faces!! The more the merrier!!

Thanks Cyn. Good to be back ... and though I'm not 100% sure, I believe dinner tonight will be meat loaf, mashed potatoes and veggies!
