Mac n cheese goes good with panko crusted fish, stewed tomatoes.

Tonight grilled ham steak, corn on the cob, spinach salad (surprise!), baked beans for DH.

Hello all.

The official word from the kitchen is that if the chicken does not defrost, it's leftover meat loaf tonight - which is OK with me.

Panko can usually be found in the Orietal foods section. There is no distinctive taste but what it does to chicken cutlets, fish, etc is delicious. I've used it in meatloaf, meatballs.

If you'll add a layer of cheese on the top you'll have scalloped shepherds pie. I'm on my way. Save a spot at the table.
