That smoothie sounds delicious.
I don't know what is for dinner tonight. It is weigh-in night. I'll probably have a lean cuisine or a leftover stuffed pepper.

For hubbie....breakfast sausage, mashed potato and corn.

Hey all, hubby has been hogging the computer for the past week or so. Ugh, no play time on the computer for me now. Let's see, last night for dinner we had salmon, baked potato and veggies. Yummy.

Tonight for dinner, I am contemplating doing ranch chicken (cornflake crumbs, parm. cheese, dry ranch mix for breading) and mashed potatos with a fresh veggie salad on side. Or I may make spaghetti. Leaning more towards chicken though.

Tommorrow I will be dusting off the old crockpot. Football season begins in Texas and my middle son starts practice. My life is over as we know it. LOL

Hope everyone has a great day.

I am so sorry, you didn't get it. But, hey, you know what ?
No time to sulk over, or be depressed about.
Maybe someone else has other, better plans for you. Watta ya think ? LOL
Life's way to short, girl.....but, there will ALWAYS be fabulous food.

On the menu at my house tonight:
Pork Tenderloin Medallions. Cooked and served in a cream based sauce (with a splash of heavy cream) and mushrooms.
Served on a bed of rice, with veggies or a fresh tossed salad on the side (haven't made up my mind yet)

Everybody is having such wonderful dinners tonight!

I love chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes, smothered in gravy, with corn on the side. I haven't had that in eons. Maybe I'll make it tomorrow.

Thanks for the idea, Cyn.

I'm thawing some chicken strips. At least I'm commited that much. Most likely mashed potatoes and something green along side will be the veggies. Sweet tea to drink. Chocolate pudding for dessert.

Chocolate pudding....now I am totally rethinking the ice cream I was going to have. I may have to look in the cupboards and see if I have the fixings for it.

Good afternoon all! Thinking cheeseburgers and hot dogs on the grill tonight, not feeling creative today. I have some nice tomatoes and cukes, will toss with some oil and vinegar.

Dinner is about ready. Simple tonight, but still good. I am grilling bratwurst and have sauteed some onions, heated up leftover sauerkraut, have a good Dijon mustard and crusty rolls.

For a side dish, I made "zucchini boats". Blanched, cut in half lengthwise, pulp scraped out of the shell and dice the blanched, but firm. zucchini pulp.

Mix with 1/4 cup of blue cheese, sauteed diced onion, the diced pulp, a cup or so of Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix. Spoon back into the zucchini shells and bake for about 10 minutes until the cheese melts a bit and the top is lightly browned. Yummy! (You can use a cheddar, mozzarella, American, any cheese you like, but the blue cheese gives an unexpected, woodsy flavor to the zucchini shells.)

Vanilla ice cream with fresh sweetened, sliced strawberries and chocolate fudge topping.

Well the chicken is thawed and still a go. Cut some potatoes up in medium chunks and parboild a bit and added a jar of home canned green beens. Wife is doing the chicken her way being I got the potatoes my way. It will be simple and good with the addition of a sliced tomato.
