After I get home from gymnastics, I 'm going to make grilled shrimp on vermicelli. It will look something like this:

Looks yummy, doesn't it?

I have made moussaka, too, Lacey and elston. It is definitely a company dish. Like lasagna, it is difficult to make just enough for 2. You could have 6 meals out of one pan of moussaka!

But, delicious, it is!! Lacey, I cut the time by using a jarred sauce. I try to use marinara with as little seasoning as possible. Or, when I make sauce from Roma tomatoes, I usually have some for the freezer. I used the homemade once, but it had a lot of basil in it.

And, Burdell, after I eat cyn's fries with gravy, I'll be over for your pasta dish with a side trip to DAP's for a taste of his picture!!

Skbs, I am still impressed even if you didn't do the cooking.

Cyn, I agree. This is a wonderful place to try new dishes, and people who enjoy good food are usually very sociable folks. There sure are a lot of them right here making dinner tonight!

(Thanks, Lacey. I will!)

I'm right with you lacey--I had already thought of the "wet-fries" I have enjoyed since a child. Just can't beat them!

I'm really glad you liked it; it may not be authentic, but it's mighty tasty. Takes me back a lot of years when I taste it - I can close my eyes and be back in my Mom's kitchen in a heartbeat.

You are right...I can feel the same thing! Such a great, comfort food! Thanks....

Lacey, the wet fries were a hit! Hubby isn't so use to them so he's developing a taste..about time! Ha!

Yes please post. If my wife should see it and I don't have a recipe I'm in a bit of a jam and not a sweet one at that.
