I am being really lazy tonight and just doing fish sticks, mac and cheese and french fries, but today is the last day of laziness, the rest of the week actually involves some effort. LOL Everybodies food sounds so good for tonight.

Last night was roasted pork tenderloin and it turned out great. I threw in some small Yukon gold potatoes, sliced onions, mixed carrots, and brussels sprouts around the roast (after I seared it on all sides). I wasn't sure how it would be with the sprouts since I had never done that before, and I already bought more for the next roast I make because I loved them! It was finger lickin' good!

Tonight we are having grilled mahi mahi with grilled asparagus - does anyone else like mahi mahi?

Tonight Asian grilled chicken maybe rice and definately a salad with a little feta.

Not much imagination lately.

Tomorrow I think I will indulge in steak tips (after weigh-in).

Marinate steak tips in:

1 bottle BBQ sauce with
2-3 T worcestershire
2-3 T soy sauce
2T Tabasco
garlic powder
1 T Olive Oil or Sesame Oil
little steak sauce if you have it ..if not no biggie

These are all approximate measures as I dump and pour

Marinate overnight, place on skewers with veggies and grill to your liking.(I use tomato onion and mushrooms)
Serve over rice pilaf or whatever

Tonight will be all leftovers from the last 3 nights. Scallops, shrimp scampi, capellini with proscuitto and peas. Crispy bread & marinated cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion and garlic.

After just getting home from shopping for tonights supper I see we have another storm possibly headed for us here in FL. Hope everyone got the drill down and is ready with canned goods, bottle water, batteries, etc. Gustav may be a bit bolder in his approach.

I found some ultra lean ground beef and will make Salisbury steaks instead of cube steaks. Still having limey beans and fresh tomatoes.

So Gustav is headed our way, huh? Haven't seen much tv today, so I'll have to check it out in a bit.

Went to the Brazilian Grill for dunch/linner and checked out the buffet before we committed. We were not impressed. The food looked a bit on the dry side (we weren't there for peak lunch hour), there weren't many people there, and the place really didn't look very clean, so we backed out slowly so no one would notice.

Ended up at one of DH's favorite AYCE buffets - the Golden Corral. Way too much food. I don't think I'll be ready for pie for a while yet!
