Change of plans...not by much but no lasagna tonight. Decided on spaghetti instead. I'm tired tonight...no real reason but I am. Just seems like a very long day!

I was a happy member of the 'no-cook' contingent tonight. Earlier today I put halved grape tomatoes, quartered olives, a smashed to a paste garlic clove, S&P, and EVOO in a bowl to let the flavors develop. Other than boiling water the prep time was maybe 5 minutes, tossed with penne and grated cheese, dinner was done.

My first grader made it home at 4pm... it was a long day... had a great time though... It turned out a lot better than she had planned and was so excited with everything they did... and had library today... which means I am now responsible for not losing a school's library book for one week... LOL
And she did notice the lunch box was missing... and threw away my napkin note before reading it ...LOL... OH WELL....
Fed her the BBQ left overs and headed out the door for Karate... she is exhausted in bed now... and now I must get my butt moving and make her lunch for the AM before I forget... oh a new part of the daily routine...LOL
Burdell-do you have an extra room????? Last night pepper/egg subs and now-you're killing me.
