I love catfish and fish in general. Mild fish only please.

But as to dinner tonight, I heated some breaded, fried chicken tenderloins and added them to salad greens and green onions, with Chinese sesame ginger dressing. Very tasty! Next time I hope to have some sesame seeds and tortilla strips handy though.

I will be making Amberbaby's grandmother's cheese cake later this morning.....I ran out for the missing ingredients this morning before DP leaves for tennis. I must be motivated to be up dressed and out before 7:30 AM on a Saturday morning.

Tonight is PARTY night!!!! My WHOLE family...From Grandma all the way down to the my kids (her great grands) are going to a local Italian Restaurant. Doing some Apps, Salad, Eggplant Parm, Spinach Raviaoli, Veal Saltinboca (did I spell that right- must remember I am Irish) and then heading back to my parents for dessert... ding dong cake from the Italian bakery I have raved about on here (this is where I will be celebrating The CD FOODY birthday as this is our traditional bday cake) and a huge platter of Italian cookies and Canolis...

hopefully my meds will be giving me a little more room in the belly to eat as I have passed on dessert for the past three nights... OH AND NO HEADACHE IT IS A WONDERFUL DAY!!!!!!!

It will be a fun night... and a party till all hours as the cousins hang out reliving the good old days can't wait!

Glad you're back Cyn. Missed you but Amber's a great fill-in.

SKBS-does that sound great and so glad you're headacheless finally.

Love fried catfish and yes have eaten the crappies with tails-deep fried.

Rainy weekend here. Thinking pepper/egg subs (my big indulgence in bread).

Now I am on step #2 of amber's recipe......letting the cheese filling cool for one hour before topping wth the sweetened lemon sour cream and then putting back in oven. It all smells so good......I even grated fresh lemon peel. When I licked off the spoon and beaters......it was delicious!

I bought four beautiful, huge green peppers the other day after work. Looks like stuffed peppers for dinner today. The kitchen will smell wonderful!
