Tonight we are having a pork loin roast. I am going to slice little slits in the roast and put sliced garlic in the slits and then bake it. Guess I'll have baked sweet potatoe and applesause as sides. Hmmmm...guess I should make a veggie too. Peas.

OMG so good.... so so so good. Those recipes are keepers, for real - and I am so proud of myself! I have never made anything like that. We didn't even have leftovers!

I had steaks thawed out but its snowing lightly so no grilling out tonight, I might have to wing it, would love the Osso Bucco myself but no shanks around here, maybe i'll make up a big pot of fish chowder with carrots and potatoes.

How come there are no shanks around?????
I made boneless rib eyes steaks, with rice and veggies tonight instead.
Osso Bucco tomorrow, since it's taking longer then I expected.
I guess good things take time....lol......
P.S. The steaks turned out awesome, BTW....Montreal seasoning, tons of fresh garlic and fresh herbs, rice with butter and parsley, and teriyaki veggies.
Yummmmmmmyyy....no leftovers though....huh.

Yeah, we were hoping to grill some steaks night before last but it rained and got cold. But I'll take the rain over steaks right now---we are way behind on our rain this year. So the steaks are still in the freezer for the next warmer day! I think tonight I'm taking one of my spaghetti sauces I froze, thaw it out and microwave it up to heat it and pour it on some spaghetti with some garlic toast and put together a salad. Easy, quick and little clean-up. My kind of meal!

Steaks were the bomb....Osso Bucco....well..okay flavor, but I guess not my "texture" (I don't know on how to describe it...huh)
It's down in the 40's here at night.....brrrrr.....but I am still using the grill. Just the best flavor....ever.
When we still lived up in PA, we used to grill when we were snowed in.....lol.
