CHICKEN FRIED STEAK

INGREDIENTS:
• cube steaks
• flour seasoned with salt, pepper, and a little garlic powder
• beaten egg
• bread crumbs or cracker crumbs
• oil for frying
PREPARATION:
In this order:
Dredge the meat with flour seasoned with salt, pepper, and a little garlic powder.
Dip into beaten egg.
Press bread crumbs or soda cracker crumbs into meat.
Fry in about 1/2 inch of oil until golden brown.

I pound the already tenderized cube steaks a bit more just to make sure they are good and tender!!

This is good and easy!! Served with mashed potatoes and chicken gravy---YUM!!!

You could whip up some goulash just about as quickly! Or there is another recipe here...hamburger stroganoff that is yummy and quick also. Maybe glance through the pages here, I know there are so many, but sometimes when I'm stuck and can't think of anything and need something quick and easy I just go to page one and start from there. It really only takes a few minutes to find something. Good luck Hamburger helper is always a good quick fix!!

Nic - a good quick and easy fix is always tacos, IMO. Brown up your ground beef, add your taco seasoning, set out your tortillas/shells, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, whatever your family likes, and you're all set! About 15 minutes prep time and everyone loves it.

You're welcome!

Trust me - they're delicious! They'll be a hit, I promise. You can even get the premixed taco seasoning in the little packets at the grocery store so your work is reduced, big time. Or, you can make nachos - same concept, only everything goes over some tortilla chips instead of inside a taco shell or tortilla. Yum!

Nic-if you have ground beef-just brown it with onion, salt/pepper, add a can of stewed tomates, can tomato soup. Mix it with elbow mac, top w/ bread crumbs and bake about 20 min.
