Went to a demo by a local artisan chocolatier. Salted caramel bonbon, Ceylon pepper & dark Valrhona ganache, butterscotch (made with single malt scotch), dark chocolate fresh mint ganache, strawberry gelee w/ basil chocolate, earl grey gelee with hazelnut praline square.

So good, so rich, and I came home so hungry for meat that I grabbed a big slice of ham and gnawed it down.

I am making a small meat loaf, baked pots and veggies. I have to get it on early as hubby is judging a dog costume contest or the cutest dog, whatever his evening, at a near by town, unless they cancel due to the bad weather. The rain is stopped now, but should pick up again about mid afternoon.
