OP, if you google it, you actually ARE addicted, and it's not a terribly uncommon addition.
Shriracha causes release of endorphins and dopamine. Kind of similar to the way some people get addicted to running, and if they're not allowed to run at their certain time of day they start to feel jittery.
Dijon mustard has a unique quality, I think. It adds a a great boost of flavor to many recipes, while, by itself, it tastes like poison to me.
I eat very little mustard because it bothers my stomach, but I do put some in recipes. The other day I used a sweet onion bottled salad dressing, and as soon as I tasted it, the alarm bells went off. Checked the ingredients, and sure enough, it had mustard in it. Was ok, though. I guess not enough to do any harm.
I hated hot dogs as a kid because they made me throw up. I wouldn't eat kielbasa or bratwurst anything else that had that hot-doggy taste or smell. Came to figure out well into adulthood that it was the mustard that made me sick.
Its definitely passed down. This is why there are ethnic and geographic groups that eat significantly spicier foods than others. I can't speak to if its because its truly in the biologic makeup of taste buds or if its just because they start their babies on spicy foods younger...
I don't remember if I had spicy food as a baby but my dad tells me I loved his black coffee and always wanted hot sauce on everything. I was also his favorite magic trick. As a small child I would eat any hot pepper given to me.

I find I can't enjoy eggs as much unless I put either Sriracha or Cholula on them. We always have both on hand and I even travel with a small bottle of either, so that if we get free breakfast at a hotel, I can make the strange eggs they serve there more palatable. Or if we pick up a breakfast sandwich from a fast food place, I'll splash a bit inside.
I love just about all condiments. Horseradish with roast beef. A1 Steak Sauce with steak. Ketchup, relish & mustard on burgers and hot dogs. Mint sauce with lamb. Vinegar and salt on fries. Chutney or Ajvar with sausages. Ajvar is a condiment from the countries around Bosnia, made from bell peppers, eggplant, onion and garlic.
I travel with my sriracha too! I had to look up Ajvar. I actually love it. My neighbor makes it but calls it red relish. She also makes green salsa that I just eat plain!

But yummy.
OMG that is funny because I start pacing if I don't get out with my dogs every night.

I'm pretty sure I have had that. Also Chili garlic oil. I have a thing for sour cream too! I switched to plain greek yogurt (taste the same to me) because the individual size is perfect. I mix sriracha and salsa into it and go to town lol.
If I go out for breakfast I always take a small bottle of Crystal or Chalula just in case the restaurant doesn't stock hot sauce.
Not only for eggs but also grits or gravy.
