I don't know of any food specifically but taking a magnesium pill and a melatonin pill helps me sleep..zzzz

Anytime I have a sleep problem put the tea kettle on and make a hot cup of tea with milk and little sugar in it. I know the tea has caffeine but I think the milk cancels it out at least for me it works.

I am told Bananas, Warm Milk with Honey, Camomile Tea and also Lettuce are the best aids for sleep but it never seems to work with my insomnia.

Not eating anything before sleeping. Makes my tummy bloated which makes me having uneasy sleep. If I does eat before sleeping then I'll have nightmares.

If for some reason or another I wake in the night & just can not get back to sleep after tossing & turning what seems like forever then I have to get up find some cheese in the frig. to eat, that seems to do the trick for me, before I know it I'm sleeping, Zzzzz.

Heavy food helps you to eat asleep. Most of time, if you eat more that is the also reason behind this.But, most important food is cheese.
