Hi, all.
I'm going to be hosting an anniversary dinner for my mother/father in-law next Sunday, and would appreciate any suggestions for a meal plan. There will be 12 people, myself included, attending, and I'm at a loss as to what to prepare.

My husband is a chef, and I love to cook/bake as well, soooo we can pretty much do anything.

Any suggestions?

They are very open to new tastes, can't think of any dislikes. MIL cooks lots of southwest style food, Italian, and vegetarian/ healthy dishes of her own creation.
My sister in law is from CostaRica, and another guest is from Monaco, so I was thinking world food maybe.

Open to suggestion.

Maybe you could do each course from a different country?

Paella is one of my favorites for a crowd. Add in some tapas like charred octopus, good cheese, charcuterie and olives to start and a simple salad. Something sublime for dessert.

Maybe squid instead? I've had octopus tapas that would take all day and night to chew.
