I knew we had a lot in common! Also a cheerleader with horrible food taste in HS. A looong time ago. I'd have a Fresca and a package of Yodels. Also skinny as a rail.
Must have had a cast iron stomach - never bothered me!
PS Does anyone remember Fresca?
Wait, what's wrong with Fresca? It is 0 calorie. Not sure what a Yodel is (foodwise).
I never cared for Twinkies so when they disappeared for a short time I did not miss them. I like the chocolate cupcakes with the white swirl on top better.
It was pastry made by Drake's (who made Devil Dogs), which were in turn owned by Hostess.
Akin to Little Debbie's Swiss Rolls (chocolate cake with white filling spiral inside), I think-have never had Hostess/Drake brand "Yodels". Yodels - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Good to hear Donettes are back, hope they still make the coconut ones
