I'm probably the youngest person in here posting, but I miss when I was like 4 or so i'd bring little lemon-lime and fruit punch juice boxes of gatorade. I don't even like any of the flavors any more.

Tastykake pies - they're still available but about 5-6 years ago they disappeared from local (Washington DC area) store shelves. Used to find them in convenience stores and small food marts. There was a store near my work that got them in twice a week, in about a half a dozen fruit flavors. After two or three days they were all sold. I like them because they are real baked pies with real fruit filling. Not the nasty fried Hostess pies that taste strongly of the lard in which they are fried and have a strange, artificial-like "fruit" filling.

Let's see my favorites are: apple of course, blueberry, peach, lemon, french apple (with raisins and frosting), and pumpkin in season. Now the only way to get them is by the box from the company in Philadelphia.

When I was a kid I loved Rainbow Brite cereal. That is long gone.

They finally brought back the vanilla Cookie Crisp! I saw it in Bi-Lo the other day. I got a coupon so I'm anxious to try it.

Another treat I miss: French Toast Crunch. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch is good, but the French Toast was way better. I can still smell the delicious aroma when I tore open the box!

Let me know how you like it. I saw them a few months ago and bought two boxes but I don't know if my taste has changed or if they are different than the ones we remember because I don't really care for them at all. And I am a vanilla fanatic. If it's got vanilla in it I will eat it but this cereal was a real disappointment to me.

I will say that while they have not brought the original Doritos that I griped about, the baked ones remind me of the original and taste much better than the normal Doritos. In fact, all of the Baked Lays chips taste better to me than their normal counterparts. Which means it's only a matter of time before they are off the market.
