Has anyone been to this chain? I like chinese food but will this knock my socks off? THey just built one near me along with a cheesecake factory and wanted some opinions on the food. My husband hates to wait for food.
YUMMMM! You have to get the Lettuce wraps! The 1st time we went we kept seeing waiters bring out plates of lettuce so we ordered them, SO GOOD. I also love the sauce they mix up for you, spicy though!
I was introduced to PF Chang's one winter in FL, and then started going back here in NY/NJ. I like it very much. I was wanting something different -- not take-out, not the stereotypical Chinese restaurant, etc. Unless I am heading into NYC, there's not a great deal of those around; a few, but not alot.
The environment is great, bar, restaurant, etc. It's not a place you would go for a romantic, intimate dinner, but that's not what it's going after. The menu certainly isn't stereotypical. I think it's the newer, modern, Americanized effort at nuveau, or something of the like.
Like I said, I like it a lot. It's a great alternative to "just" Chinese.
I like it. It's a fun chain. They have a lot of stuff with curry too if you like Thai / Indian. They kind of mix that with typical chinese and make new things.
