Well, here is another silly Sunday poll, fellow Texans!
In this case, it involves buttermilk; something that has come up with the cheese poll.
I admit this is one going to be difficult to word, so y'all give me a break if all the potential choices are not there and/or I messed up in listing them!
On the proverbial related tangent -- despite jokes about it and misconceptions about it -- buttermilk is
not "soured milk". It originated with the "old days" of the "butter-churn". Fresh cow's milk would be churned for butter...and the "leavings" were a yellow-speckled mix at the bottom. This was buttermilk!
What is buttermilk? Does buttermilk contain butter?
