What is your true banana split?

Here's mine. One scoop vanilla, one scoop chocolate, one scoop strawberry. Sliced bananas, sliced long ways along each side. Toppings: chocolate, strawberry, pineapple. Whipped cream, chopped nuts, a cherry, pitted, with stem.

Bonus question. Where do you go for your banana split?

Sounds like my kind of b.s.
BUT. I cannot eat those anymore.

In my 8th month of pregnancy my cravings demanded my hubby to go out at 10pm and find me a banana split.

he brought home a sonic b.s. I was so grateful to him.
I got down to the last bite of banana and hot fudge......and it came right back up!!!!!
Cherry and all.

I cannot bring myself to eat one ever again.
My stomach churns if I even see a picture of one.

.
My mouth wants one, but my mind says, hell no!!
So, I haven't had one since October of 2003.

f.2, your description sounds perfect to me. I cannot remember when I last had one and it's making me hungry!

f.2, I would describe my banana split the same way, minus the pineapple. I have not had a banana split since I was very young, 8 or 9, and my stepfather would take me to Carvel for them.

This sounds like a perfect banana split! We used to live less than a mile from Braum's and they made them just like this w/your choice of ice creams. We'd get them to go and, for good measure, we'd also get a cup of their hot fudge on the side to add to it, only as needed of course! Hey, if you're gonna go bad, go all the way!

'Tis a good thing we moved!

I would skip the strawberry and opt for an extra scoop of chocolate. All the rest of that sounds perfect!

^^^ This is exactly what I call a banana split, but it is very hard to find anyplace that makes them that way anymore.

Sonic doesn't make good banana splits, they are small and not good at all.
