I eat two hot dogs as a meal - one with mustard, lots of onions and Skyline chili. The other with mustard and a pile of sweet cole slaw. And they have to be "dirty water dogs."

Mustard and sour kraut that's all. I never ate a chili dog.

Mustard and mustard only. Plain yellow mustard at that. I further comport with the National Hot Dog & Sausage Council's established Hot Dog Etiquette that the use of ketchup on a hot dog after one has turned 18 years old is unacceptable.

Was at Dodger Stadium and had some Dodger dogs. Had chopped onions, relish, cut up jalepenos, and mustard. Loved that. Recently we were at Costco and I had a hot dog at the eating place outside of the place. Decided to do the same thing that I did at Dodger Stadium. Love it that way.

Well, since you asked - my usual favorite is Hebrew National on a steamed bun with yellow mustard, chopped Vidalia onions and really sour dill pickles (Heinz Genuine Dills)

Another wonderful hotdog, is one I have had at a roadside stand in Puerto Vallarta, Mx, which came wrapped in bacon with salsa and some other toppings - mustard, mayo, etc. Totally perfect and cost about a dollar.

Lately, diced onions, brown mustard, siracha and a bit of sweet relish on a Nathan's or Hebrew Nat'l dog.

It's from an expression people use for hot dog vendors that heat the dogs in hot water. The water becomes greasy and "dirty." It just means I heat the dogs in water - not on a grill.
