Just chiming in to agree with everything everyone else said.
I shopped a couple times at the Tallahassee one before we moved.
We were there for both Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday food shopping, and I appreciated their choices and specialty items.
I certainly did enjoy the pleasant customer service, too.

That is probably what I will be doing also, the holiday shopping and gifts that I bring up North with us for Christmas. Also, meats and fish that I can't get from our local supermarkets. The way prices are going up, I won't be doing my weekly shopping there.

It's a nice store, but higher prices as noted. However, if you're looking for something special that you can't find elsewhere, it's definitely the place to go. They do have a lot of neat stuff you won't find at the every day stores.

I shop at our Fresh Market for seafood or occasionally for fruit. I second their coffee beans. I also buy dark chocolate covered almonds. Other than that I get produce at our local farmer's market and buy most of my beef from a local farmer. Nothing at Fresh Market appears to be local.
The prices are high but so is the quality.

Default The Fresh Market

The Fresh Market, which started in Greensboro NC has started putting stores around the country. Our area got it's first Fresh Market 1 1/2 yrs. ago. I absoolutely love shopping there. The meats, fish and produce are the best we have ever eaten and we have even noticed that we consume less while eating better. I just would like to know if others on this forum are familar with The Fresh Market and what your views are.

We also have one. Really good food. I find it a little on the pricey side, but top quality.

We had a Fresh Market in Winston-Salem but they got rid of it. It was awesome. I would always stop there when I worked down there.
