I am an incredibly picky eater, I can't help it, most food looks, smells, and tastes gross to my senses.
I don't like being this way, it's a real hassle but can't be fixed.
I don't eat seafood or pizza, never have & never will. Don't like cheese or eggs, either.

Kidneys
Brains
Oysters
Farmed fish of any kind
Fish or seafood from anywhere but very clean deep waters. No fish or seafood from China, Vietnam or any other SE Asian Country's for me. I learned how fish were farmed in those places and its horrific.
Blood sausage-Blut Vurst

Pigs feet;

I remember one dinner we had that my brother had caught a lot of trout, and my Father didn't like it. He hid the trout in the empty baked potato shell.. I think that is pretty clever.

I thought the questions was about main stream food. I would not consider tongue and shark fin soup, brains and pig feet main stream.

I will never let stewed okra pass my lips again. it is the slimiest feel on earth. It has been over 35 years since I was forced to try it and I still shudder to think of it. Ditto for oysters and clams.

Maybe in your neck of the woods. Food like tongue and pigs' feet are quite mainstream here. We have a large ethnic population and these foods are common.

I think tongue & pig's feet are pretty mainstream. I used to see pig's feet all the time in the supermarket, even though it was something I never bought/had, and a tongue sandwich on rye with mustard is something I used to eat fairly often.

To me fish heads are not mainstream and I made a comment about them being in my favorite supermarket seafood case. The counter person informed me I was not with the times. What was really going on I left the norm mainstream country folk marketing area of the chain, the area of the state where it started, and came to a more cosmopolitan city. Many cultures crammed together here. No such thing on the agenda as curried goat back home but common here. I know it is OK but I'll pass for a grilled sirloin.
