This morning I made sausage gravy biscuits using Paula Dean's recipe with 2 cups of half and half. Boy it was decadent. Then we all went into a carb stupor and took naps. I slept for 2 hours! This cold is keeping me up at night so I needed that sleep and it's rainy and cloudy here anyway.
Lord have mercy, ya'll are some industrious folks at breakfast! Gotta' have coffee first. We had sausage & biscuits. I did manage to "pop" open a can from "fridge and fry the sausage. Had some home made peach preserves also. (a little more cooking goes on when we have company or the grown kids are around)
