There you go! I love beef fajitas! Skirt steak is really pricey like rib-eye here. Takes an awful lot to make very little fajitas. I would like to have them more often.

So we made :

Moong and Channa/Masoor daals (green lentil and yellow.pink lentil)
Palaak Paneer (spinach with Mozzarella cheese cubes)
Makkai curry (dry spiced sweet corn)
Aloo gajjar (dry carrot curry)
Basmati Rice and a whole lot of thin Chapatis

Raw vegetable platter
Chutneys: Aam ki chutney(spicey mango chutney) and Pudina (mint chutney)
Pickles: (Ajar's) Lime and green chili
Raita: spicy cucumber yogurt dip
Imli sauce: Tamarind sauce

Sweets :Gajar Pak (Carrot Halva)
Gulab Jaman( milk balls in syrup)
Ladoos homemade ( and a few bought ones)

I used to get it super cheap, like tri-tip. Then those cuts became popular and the cost is outrageous.

If I don't put this steak (tacos and burritos) in the crock pot in the next hour I think we may have eggplant and zucchini lasagna. I could just save that for tomorrow, though.

With no science projects in the fridge, no better half home to cook, I might just eat an apple and a pear and call it good. And then again I may make myself a toasted ham & cheese sandwich.

Tonight, chicken-chorizo-veggie-bean soup with cumin and chili powder for interest. Turned out pretty well, actually.

Thin spaghetti with pork-veggie sauce.
