I've had a skirt steak marinating all day for fajitas. Peppers, onions... everything on the grill, and I think we'll do a side of corn on the cob.
There you go! I love beef fajitas! Skirt steak is really pricey like rib-eye here. Takes an awful lot to make very little fajitas. I would like to have them more often.
My DH celebrates Diwali this whole weekend with friends and relatives..so there is a lot of food involved..from sweet and salty treats,to lentil soups and vegetable curry dishes and a chicken curry dish and desserts and drinks. My kitchen has been very busy all week preparing with 5 other women, there is no way I can do all that on my own anymore.

I used to get it super cheap, like tri-tip. Then those cuts became popular and the cost is outrageous.
If I don't put this steak (tacos and burritos) in the crock pot in the next hour I think we may have eggplant and zucchini lasagna. I could just save that for tomorrow, though.
With no science projects in the fridge, no better half home to cook, I might just eat an apple and a pear and call it good. And then again I may make myself a toasted ham & cheese sandwich.
Thin spaghetti with pork-veggie sauce.
I really wanted the buffalo wings and pizza but I will have to wait a little while.
